Mr. Rowland has over 28 years of leadership experience in the chemical industry. While with E.I. DuPont his career spanned across multiple business units in a variety of disciplines such as Project Engineering, Process Engineering, Maintenance and Manufacturing Leadership. Upon leaving DuPont he joined Kerr McGee in their chemical division where he led their $1.2 Billion global manufacturing operation. He eventually became Chief Operating Officer during an IPO process for the chemicals operation.
Mr. Rowland’s leadership in design of high performance work systems, driving improvements through the use of Six Sigma Style process improvements, Lean Manufacturing, and Supply Chain best practices resulted in many improvements across the company including productivity enhancements, improved customer service, better quality, and cost reductions.
